Hello, my name is Becca Morris and I am the Managing Editor at The LINGUIST List. I am also responsible for Finances, editing Jobs, and Social Media Boosting.

I am currently a PhD student in Computational Linguistics at Indiana University. I received my MA in Computational Linguistics from IU. I also received a BA in Linguistics from the University of Florida. I am currently working on my qualifying exams which focus on building a Universal Dependencies Treebank for Hakha Chin, and also Dependency Parsing for Hakha Chin.

I am planning to work on Dependency Parsing of Swedish for my dissertation.

In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with my cat. I am also teaching myself Swedish.
