Conference URL: https://sites.google.com/a/york.ac.uk/fal2015/ We are delighted to announce that the Forum for Arabic Linguistics conference will be held at the University of Essex on 28-30th July 2015. The aim of this international conference is to provide a forum for academic and scholarly exchange on the linguistics of the Arabic language family, for researchers from across Europe and the Middle East, and beyond. We invite submission of abstracts in all areas of Arabic linguistics, including: phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, morphology, dialectology, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, conversation analysis, historical linguistics, language acquisition, psycholinguistics and computational linguistics. Invited speakers: Jonathan Owens (University of Bayreuth), Louisa Sadler (University of Essex), Ghada Khattab (University of Newcastle), Reem Khamis-Dakwar (Adelphi University) and Ahmed Al-Jallad (University of Leiden).
