ELRA is happy to announce that 2 new Speech Resources are now available inits catalogue:

ELRA-S0292 Danish EUROM1 (EUROM1_D)EUROM1 is the first really multilingual speech database produced in Europe.Over 60 speakers per language pronounced numbers, sentences, isolated wordsusing close talking microphone.For more information, see:http://catalog.elra.info/product_info.php?products_id=1087

ELRA-S0293 The HIWIRE database, a noisy and non-native English speechcorpus for cockpit communication The database contains 8,099 Englishutterances pronounced by non-native speakers (31 French, 20 Greek, 20Italian, and 10 Spanish speakers). The collected utterances correspond tohuman input in a command and control aeronautics application. The data wasrecorded in studio with a close-talking microphone and real noise recordedin an airplane cockpit was artificially added to the data. The signals areprovided in clean (studio recordings with close talking microphone), low,mid and high noise conditions. The three noise levels correspondapproximately to signal-to-noise ratios of 10dB, 5dB and -5 dB respectively.For more information, see:http://catalog.elra.info/product_info.php?products_id=1088
