I am researching synchronous and asynchronous computer-mediatedinteraction among second language (L2) learners. The data I havecollected consists of task-based chat discussions among learners ofGerman, and I am looking to expand my study to include othercomputer-mediated L2 data, i.e. second/foreign language chats, texts, and emails.

Most L2 corpora contain written texts, such as essays/compositions(Chinese Learner English Corpus, Uppsala Student English Project,International Corpus of Learner English, Longman Learners' Corpus).A few contain speech (ISLE Speech Corpus). Thus far, I have onlybeen able to locate one corpus of computer-mediated learnerdiscourse, namely Julie Belz' Telekorp of German L1/L2. Does anyoneknow of any other L2 (including English as L2) corpora I might be ableto access?

I will post a summary of the replies.

Thank you,Ilona Vandergriff
