Dear all,

I would like to inform you that the java API WNetSS is available for using a wide WordNet-based semantic similarity measures. These measures pertain to different categories including taxonomic-based, features-based and IC-based measures. In fact, determining the semantic similarity between word pairs is an important component in several research fields. It is the first API that allows the extraction of the topological parameters from the WordNet “is a” taxonomy which are used to express the semantics of concepts. Moreover, an evaluation module is proposed to assess the reproducibility of the measures accuracy that can be evaluated and compared according to 10 widely-used benchmarks through the correlations coefficients Pearson and Spearman.

It can be found here: http://wnetss-api.smr-team.org/

I hope that you will find it useful,

Best regards,

Mohamed Ben Aouicha
