Academic staff members (TWO part-time positions 50%)
Your tasks:
- research activity for the intended doctorate and within the framework of joint projects of the research
unit (preparation and implementation of linguistic data collection, processing and analysis of speech data, participation in publications and presentation of results at national and international conferences)
- teaching obligation of 2
hours (one course) per week in Spanish or French linguistics in core-linguistic areas such as phonetics/phonology, morphology, syntax, or semantics
Your profile:
In addition to the general requirements according to public
services law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in § 57 of the Hochschulgesetz of Rhineland-Palatinate.
- a successfully completed university degree (linguistics/Romance studies)
- ability to teach in
Spanish or French
- a very good command of German or willingness to acquire this knowledge within a reasonable period of time
- a good command of English
- willingness to cooperate with the members of the research group
within the framework of joint projects
- research interests in the areas of phonetics/phonology, syntax, language contact, or second/third language acquisition

The position is paid according to EG 13 TV-L and to be filled on 1 April 2022. The position is temporary for a fixed term until 31 March 2025.
