As of volume 28 John Benjamins welcomes Martin Dege (Pratt Institute, NY) as new editor of the bookseries Studies in Narrative. He will succeed Michael Bamberg (Clark University) who will remain member of the board. We thank Michael for his long-time involvement with and work on behalf of the bookseries.

The subject of SiN is the study of narrative. Volumes published in the series draw upon a variety of approaches and methodologies in the study of narrative. Particular emphasis is placed on theoretical approaches to narrative and the analysis of narratives in human interaction.
