Hello Linguist List readers!

We are pleased to announce a new way to connect with other readers during our Fund Drive: polls! Now, this isn't the average, feedback-collecting poll. We have come up with a series of linguistic phenomena that we want your opinion on. For the first poll, we are looking at anadromes. An anadrome is a word that, when spelled backwards, is a different word. We've collected a mini list of anadromes to see which one is your favorite, and there is a field for you to submit one that comes to your mind as well. All valid submissions will be reviewed by our team and has the chance to be featured when the poll results come out.

Check out the first poll here!

If you have already donated, thank you! Every dollar makes a difference.

With gratitude,
