Abstract: People in different regions worldwide speak different languages. The languages they use to communicate, each has its own peculiarities. As a result, languages can be similar or different. Besides, multifarious other parameters fuel the question of similarities and differences among languages. Although the theme running through this paper is on the basis of, mainly, similarities and, somehow, differences among the world’s languages, it is supported by some examples from Persian, English, Arabic, French and German.
