The Pedagogical University of Cracow is the oldest pedagogical school of higher education in Poland. It has been contributing to Polish teacher education and educational research for over 65 years. There are currently 20 000 students enrolled into 80 degree courses in 27 different areas of study. Language education constitutes an important part of our activities. The Institute of Modern Languages offers teacher training and translation programmes in English, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian and French.
